Why am I getting kicked?

Ello, for the past few weeks whenever i try a raid i get kicked with the explanation somewhere along the lines of: more than expected packet bytes.

I have a decent gaming laptop, and it didn't use to happen so idk what to do. Is this a bug? What's happening? How do I fix it? xD

play 1.12.2 unmodded. Worked for me, but then again 1.12.2 unmodded is pretty laggy since you don't have access to performance mods. Pick your poison i guess

 

Just stumbled across this small thread while I was looking for something but I figured I'd tell you what I know.
This happens to me as well and I also have a powerful machine with like 5 or 6 mods I run on Wynn, notably Wynntils and Essentials, and Optifine, if you count that as a mod. Most notably this will happen to me whenever I switch worlds, such as queueing for a raid, the party being transferred to a new world and getting kicked in the transfer process. I usually don't look at the message why, I just click past it.
If this is the same thing you're getting, I am 90% sure this is an error on Wynn's part as I have never encountered this before 2.0. As of now there's no fix or solution, you just gotta live with it and hope they fix it soon.

 

1.12.2 does have the least amount of kicking issues, mods are currently looking into the situation. If any of you want to, feel free to send me (either here on discord, lemonalade#7340 ) a screenshot of the error message you get along with the crash log. You can find the crash log via (%AppData%/.minecraft/logs/latest.log). I'll pass it along to the mods.
