Who's Bak'al?

I've heard about him and seen him in multiple discoveries, but who exactly is/was he?

 

Some General-kind-of-guy who did some attacks during the corruption war. I believe we will find out more in further updates

 

Sort of like the leader of the Corrupt and Undead from the roots of corruption, a main lore enemy

 

The first person to come in and out of the portal. He led the attacks. Though that conflicts with the cow lore.

 

CoW lore right? Like corrupter of worlds? I immediately thought you meant cows like the animal I- I mean the great Salted

Bak'al was one of the first people to venture into the portal after its discovery and after the Corrupter killed his mining crew. When he came out, he was leading the pack. Thousands of them.

So apparently COW just killed his mining crew and stayed in the Roots region for a while is the only thing that makes sense. Only until Bak'al started singing death anthem did it decide to go on a slaughter.

 

i'm not knowledgable on the lore, but wasn't CoW the mining leader? i'm 90% sure rashyroth says that in ToL.
