Mage/Dark Wizard Help Which Mage Is Best Mage?

So I was looking at the multiple routes for making a mage build, and I honestly have no idea which would be the best one. Let me know your opinion, which mage build is the best one? (I mean earth, fire, water, etc.)

 

In terms of dmg, thunder mage is the best. Water mage isn't the most popular anymore, and fire mage is decent in the current meta, earth mage wasn't really a thing in the first place sadly... Nor air mage...

thunder is not always the most efficient

 

Pve wise I’d recommend earth builds (like Gaia)
Otherwise feel free to use Air || Water builds (such as Lament and Warp) , they are really fun.

Use a Nepta if you can’t afford or don’t like Lament.
