When Will The Map Be Updated?

Browsing the map, it's really only useful for finding cities/towns. The problem is that it's very outdated, and doesn't include refining, crafting, or resource gathering locations. Also, the 3D image of the map is also out of date, for example Detlas, which no longer has a tower in the center, and is full of vendors/stations not listed on the map.

 

Not sure how accurate this quote is now since he said this a while ago, but here.

 

I'm pretty sure the map hasn't been updated in 2 years lmao. It's just so absurd how long such a thing can take.

 

From what I remember from the CT stream, they also had problems with the trees since all of them technically don't exist in the build server due to them being cuttable and all that in game.
