When Should I Stop Leveling A Profession?

I've been leveling cooking for quite a while (just recently got to level 100) but what level do I stop actually getting better stats in my meals and just start competing for leaderboard positions? I was hoping to start leveling something else soon but don't want to leave my cooking at a point where I'm not getting the best items I can.

 

Well I think that you should get the best items and sell them on the trade market. That's really the best use of Profs.

 

Once you reach level 103 in crafting professions you are able to use all levels of materials and ingredients. This is considered the maximum useful level. For gathering the maximum useful level is 110.
