When One Devourer Ain't Enough...

All I do is kill a spider because some floating light guy told me to, and I'm
rewarded with not one, but TWO withers.

Derp.

I was not prepared for this. I had to spam heal and meteor forevsies to kill one of them.

 

This happens to me every time I do this quest, I thought it was a feature...

 

Good thing it didn't happen to me when i did it like a day ago

 

Wait really?! I was extremely caught off guard by this lol.

 

And this is why I don't do the Realm of Light Quest. Its too grindy and boring imo.

 

It's okay you just gotta wither away their health and you should get past them.

The reason this happens is that sometimes, you can, through a glitch, "kill" a mob twice, this can be problematic if that mob is programmed to spawns something much stronger when it dies.... (Imagine this happening during the orange wybel fight...)

This happened while I was trying to solo Orange Wybel just a few minutes earlier, upon defeating its 3rd form, it spawned 2 4th form Orange Wybels on me, and a some time later, I was forced to solo 2 final form Orange Wybels, and then I eventually died.
