What's The Point Of Doing Lost Soles?

I mean seriously. You have to beat a boss who's almost unkillable, pay 20 EB to do the quest, and what do you get? 1 Emerald??? At least get 30 EB for the hard work you put in doing this quest...

Dude, you turn in the shoes in Lost Soles and get like an LE or two. You get the boots from "Beneath the Depths"

 

Other way around dude, you turn in the galoshes and get kickass sodeta boots

 

Yea, the Sodeta Boots are really good. They lasted me until level 80.

The XP bonus makes it good I think.

The boss isn't unkillable, you need a strategy.

Paying 20 EB for the quest makes sense. They're greedy ass villagers, of course they want you to pay them.

1 Emerald, I believe is just a placeholder, as the guy never mentioned giving you any money, just some boots and xp

 

He means that you get the Abysso Galoshes from a previous quest and you get the Sodeta Boots from this one.

And these are the points:
1. You get a tonne of emeralds from both this quest and the previous quest to compensate for the 20 eb you use in Beneath the Depths.
2. The whole point of the game is to have fun, that's what a game is for.
3. You get a lot of xp from both quests.
4. You get the Abysso Galoshes until you do this quest and then you get the Sodeta Boots, which are even better.

 

Really depends on your Elemental Build. On their own stats, yes, they're good. However, it didn't fit with my Air Build so I didn't use them.

I don't get why so many people stiggle with this boss. I took like 1 hit from him and killed him in about 3-4 Multihits .-. (and yes, I'm referring to the Gavel version).

 

It's just like with CoW. You can either climb onto that wooden thing and camp him, or run around and occasionally turn around to attack him without getting in range of his attacks.

 

The thing is, I approached him as I did before Gavel, and he acted the same. I simply just ran up to him and punched him in the face until he gave me the boots. He didn't really put up much of a fight and didn't last too long.
