What's A Good Mage Build?

Well lets bump this ... So others can answer this. For now maybe you could put more details about your current build and why you want to change, and describe your intended playstyle. Perhaps more experienced players may have off the wall suggestions from the typical water mage but I'll share mine: I like spells and not have to run out of mana too quickly, and i like movement. I'm told Intel helps with reduced mana cost since mage relies on spells, and Agility will help with movement. I have 65 in Intel, and 35/35 Agility/Defense and an even lesser spread of remaining points in Dex/Strength because of gear requirements. I'll be honest that in the beginning my points were evenly spread. They still are somewhat wider spread than folks recommend. That narrower focus evolves as you play and experience the game and different gear. And of course one build should not be THE answer to suit changes in trends and game mechanics. It can be frustrating but being flexible to try different builds for a length of time will be fun. @XavierEXE has a multitude of Mage and warrior builds he is experimenting with. I'll let him post his thread links or share his thoughts.

 

I never made threads for them but I have a ton of odd builds and they all work

I have a melee mage
A thunder warrior
And a fire/earth archer
And used to have an earth/thunder mage
Aside from the lack of items for earth/thunder builds, they all worked quite well
