    So I am doing the death whistle quest. I get to the mountain, go in the cave, and the chat just goes:
    /
    /
    /
    /

    I log out, go to a different server, and find myself...at the caravan driver starting area. I didn't die, because I still have 13 soul points. What happened?

    Maybe you skipped a dialogue trigger? Refer back to the wiki to see all the quest book stages and compare them to yours to see what you are missing out on.
