I am a new player, Assassin lvl 24. Just switched from Hypixel Skyblock to Wynncraft and am having alot of fun but am stuck at a point right now. I have a striker with no powder. Hunger boots, Nipun leggings, a Golden Embrace chestplate, and a dapper trilby helmet. To keep on doing quests, I need a better sword but cant really figure out how to grind one out. I have found some grinding spots from other guides, but the mobs there do too much dmg and i cant kill them really. Anyone have advice?

Combat leveling is how you unlock more content. You can check shops in cities for better gear or find lootchests. Hope this helps.

I am also confused on how crafting works. Where can I see my recipes? Or is it different that that.

Combat leveling unlocks quest and gear Sometimes this also includes areas of the well crafted map

Getting better gear can be as easy as just opening chest on your way, exploring caves and finding chest at the bottom, killing mobs, doing quest some quest rewards rock for a while, and turning in boss drops for weapons which are really cool.

Crafting is done by gathering resources from Professions, Woodcutting, Farming, Fishing, and Mining. You can go to each work station: woodworking, jeweler, armorer, weaponsmith, tailorer, scribing table, cooking station, and potion table spelling is a lie

You need to gather these resources up plus ingredients that are found the same way weapons are: chest, enemies, etc. To get the crafted items to do what you want.

However it is recommended to just play through the first time as crafting isn't required and can be quite slow.

Among all the other important things that other people have listed, each combat level also gives +2 skill points (up until lvl 101) and +5 maximum hp each. Every 15 levels, up to lvl 75, you also gain +1 maximum soul point, with maximum amount at the end being 15. At certain combat levels you also unlock new spells and spell upgrades, you can check out the class section of the help page to see exact spells, upgrades and the levels they are unlocked at.
