What Should I Do Before Doing Ahc

    I am trying to fully immerse myself in the experience. I have limited my knowledge about what happens in AHC, and I am not going to watch any videos or read any guides. The small part I did get, though, is that it is kind of a wrap-up of your time in Wynncraft, your journey from 1-103(I'm not doing 104-106, that's dumb lol)

    But I still haven't done many things. I haven't done all the secret discoveries, I haven't done the thing in the ocean with the old man (though I don't know what that falls under), and I haven't done all the dungeons (I haven't done FF or all the corrupted ones). I know a good amount of lore, and I've been paying attention during quests, so I don't think that will be an issue. I just wanna know what I should complete before doing it so I understand everything and can piece together what's happening in real-time.

    Also, if there's anything combat-wise I should be worried about, tell me, cause I only have a few level 75 skillpots and I doubt they will do the trick, but I do have tons of level 100 health potions

    I'd recommend doing all non-corrupted dungeons you haven't done yet, along with all the Wynn plains discoveries. Apart from that, you're good lore-wise. There are some tricky combat encounters though, so if you don't have a solid build you should probably get one. That being said, if you can solo the eye, you can definitely solo whatever AHC throws at you.

    As long as you've done all quests I don't think there' a ton of spoilers, but I would be prepared, as there is a rather tricky boss fight. Not as hard as Qira, but more challenging than any individual boss in LI I think, except maybe Cybel and Dr. Legendary to give you an idea of what to expect.

    Having all quests, normal dungeons and Wynn Plains discoveries (+ultimate) should cover everything.

    The fights may be difficult, I'd say the difficulty ranges from Matrojan Idol to Qira, BUT they are very easy to rematch and you don't need to overprepare on the first run.

    In order for most if not all of the events in AHC to make sense to you, you need to complete, and bear in mind all of this is optional:
    • Wynn Plains Monument Master Discovery. This in turn requires the completion of all Discoveries that aren't a part of the Nesaak Tundra or Desert/Mesa area.
    • WynnExcavation, Site A. Other sites are not needed, but will provide additional context.
    • Fate of the Fallen, the Ice Barrows quest.
    • Temple of Legends, even if partially done.
    • An Iron Heart, Part II, which in turn requires the first part to be completed.
    • Dwarves and Doguns, Part II. Completing parts III and IV are not required.
    • Fallen Factory, at least once.
    • Oddly enough, King's Recruit. (SPOILER 1)
    You're not required to do everything listed above to do the quest. But they will provide additional context to AHC.
    The game assumes that out of the original Fruma party, the player died at some point and was risen as a peon of Bak'al (or the player was already at the side of the corrupt and the party only consisted of Aledar and Tasim).
    Skill potions are not necessary. Sure, they do help, but if you're going to do the bosses of AHC, here's a few things you need to know: (SPOILER 2)
    • Theorick: Stay away from the tornadoes. While not directly damaging, they will make the fight much harder if you get caught in one. Also watch out for Frozen Arrows (or whatever they're called).
    • Maxie: Watch your head, as lightning will occasionally strike the arena, dealing insane damage. The bosses themselves also hit somewhat hard, so make sure you can bob and weave between their attacks and the lightning strikes. Maxie himself is a pushover.
    • Aledar/Tasim: In Phase I, you need to focus on one hero rather than both. You also need to focus on the mages, as they will heal the heroes if left alive.
      • You killed Tasim: Aledar's attacks can hit hard, and he has a wide arsenal of them, so avoid getting shafted by any of his attacks. Fortunately, you don't have to face additional enemies in this fight.
      • You killed Aledar: Tasim has the occasional air strikes, which deal enough damage to make Mankind's fall in the 1998 Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker, where he plummeted 18' and onto the announcer table, seem low in comparison. The additional mobs from the previous phase still spawn in, by the way. I managed to solo this with a Fantasia build, but YMMV.
    tl;dr: Expect hard bosses
    I also recommend asking the class builders for a working solo build for your class.

    Hey guys! This is all super helpful!
    I do have a decent build, it's heavy melee with 8k dps and 900 lifesteal I think? Plus it's pretty tanky
    But I'm a warrior so I really have no clue if that's good enough to solo the eye, lmao
    plus I don't know many of the strategies for the eye and stuff, so yeah
    I did Qira with another person, and I haven't even done LI yet. Do I have to do LI?

    This is the most helpful, by far, thank you so much! I'll be sure to complete Wynn Plains Monument (I did all of the Wynn Discoveries by myself on my first playthrough, lol, not to flex) (but I haven't done the ultimate discovery yet). I'll also read up on the bosses when the time comes! And I'll get help from Atlas Inc. with my build! Thanks so much @_Dazzle!

    You don't have to do LI. If you can beat Qira, there's not a ton to worry about from AHC.
