What Now?

Okay then after EULA caused doners to lose player stacking and now that 2 of the best farming spots have been nerfed and the economy being broke and a shit ton of people are broke in Wynn (perhaps the dark ages of wynn), what now? Since the use of player stacking benefits people by safe and possibly helpful transportation, hell I still rember when a group of people stacked as cows for THE LORD AND ALL MIGHTY SALTED!!!! And asked him to post this on craftedbonus. The broke economy and the amount of people owning less than 20le (less than 20le means your poor for some damn reason)
Means they can't afford items, so if they lose their most valuable item, Wynn has possibly lost a player. And for veterans, remember pre gavel, there was this shitty level 60-68 area, which caused some of us to leave, now today, the best spotsfor 80-100 have been nerfed. I have not tried the spot when it was nerfed, but this cam cause more players to leave, and causing the next best leveling spot will be crowded with people, and 1.4.1 states that it wants to remove long term grinding, so nerfing will do nothing to fix the opness, it would rather go against the 1.4.1 statement and possibly lose players and possibly make the next grinding spot crowded as the last spot

Heres what I'm asking

1. How can we get out of the broke Wynn economy

2. What do doners get now, besides bank space that is already flooded

3. Where can we grind now

give everyone a quest bank to put all these helmets in

 

1. How is the economy broke again? Just doing quests should get you 32 le, and grinding should give maybe 1 le per run(not counting player market)
2. Since only virtual currency is removed, donors can still get bombs once shop is reworked.
3. There have already been threads on this, although I agree that there needs to be more grinding spots(not that there isn't).Also there will be more corrupted dungeons coming soontm.

 

Here are some of my solutions to the situation:
1} I beleive we are in a inflation state of our economy, and what i believe we can do to fix it, is by actually putting those history lessons to good use. The real question after that is, Will the whole server be able to agree on what needs to be done?
2} This is one i cannot answer, not in my power.
3} My highest class beging almost level 92, i have still seen the frozen heights a viable exp area. However to the 101 hunters, i am unsure...

How my contributions can help for the server's future, despite the lack of anythig said...

 

I would say have quests give more emeralds and dungeons and boss altars to give more. Increase Mythic drop chance by a bit (not crazy amounts) so the price goes down and more people can access it. Give players a reason to spend emeralds in game and not through trading. Maybe make travelling expensive? I'm not sure how we could increase emerald spending but I'm sure people have some good ideas.

 

I agree that wynncraft is going through a tough time however I wouldn't call it a dark ages personally I think wynncraft shouldn't nerf everything.

 

While I agree the nerfing of grinding spots is a bummer but (1) dungeons give good xp, there's just not a level 90 dungeon yet that we can do.
(2) quest XP from level 60-70 have been buffed A TON. Each quest levelled me up 1 time as far as I can remember. (This was before gameplay update so I dunno if quests still level you up)
(3) swarms are a good source of XP when they pass the testing and are fully in game
(4) for fucks sake they need to buff quest XP from level 80-90

For our shitty economy I have no idea how to fix it but it's mainly due to the insane prices of certain legendaries and mythics. Re-iding has a part to play too, as each re-ID swallows up a ton of money.

 

You say grinding spots have been nerfed, yet I haven't seen any changes given to Freezing Heights, which is basically the supreme grinding spot for level 85-95, and besides, there's that one grinding spot in Sky Islands that was only nerfed by 300 XP, and as someone who is level 97 with 50-60 ish XP bonus it's a really good grinding spot. The reason that old grinding spot was nerfed was because it was broken as shit.

Also, with quests alone you can get 32+ LE with just one class.

Honestly I feel that some people are overreacting to this "situation".

So 1: Corrupt dungeons take time to get the key

2: 32le alone means we won't spend it, and some of the most wanted items cost a third, half, or a good 10 times more of that ammount

 

the Wynn economy:

Due to demands of more items and rarity of the items, it should be a higher or lower price, the higher the stocks the less money it cost.

However, in Wynn, Prices have rose over the past years, I remember when a blue mask was 1-2le.....now its like 3-10le, and 1.4.1 states that legendaries and rares are more common, yet the prices went up due to re idenfications and more rares and legendaries mean a higher chance of getting good ids, and also prices didn't drop at all. The horse breeding system is also Almost like a damn casino, get a white horse then you get 100le or more, yet there are people that always gamble for a white horse with 10le on them and always end up with a black, and having 100le also isn't good for bank space and it won't really afford you any good mythics. Hell ever since 1.4.1, a pure and archangel were like 1-2 stacks, a couple weeks later, it has increased by half a stack.

 

Prices have definitely dropped.

 

How about we make Wynncraft it's own game.

 

Well for most people, they don't know that, since I think battleslau or jack said cancer was less than 40le, I went to do a price check in deltas and a most of them replied 50-55le,
