What Is The Point Of The 5 Person Dungeon Near Detlas?

So i found this place around 1.7.10 and i want to now that if it even possible to go through it? there is a sign saying a bow will light the way with missing letters and an obvious 3*3 door near it. there is no place to use a bow. what is the point of this place?

i found the place in minecraft 1.7.10 but then i took a long break between 1.8 and now. there is an obvious hole with flames in but it has no button inside even if you shoot it with a bow

you use a bow to shoot through the flames in the nearby room.
the whole dungeon is useless.

 

so nothing in there? thats dissaponting. why did they made it?

 

I think there was a tier 3 loot chest in there but it isn't worth it as you need 5 people to open the damn thing
