What Is The Agreed Best Version To Play Wynncraft On?

Got back into Wynncraft bouta week ago, and have been playing on version optifine 1.12.2
Is there a "better" version I should be playing on or should I just stick to the version I'm using currently?
Also how do I turn off the party glow it burns my eyes

 

It works on all versions pretty well, tho I use 1.12.2 cause a good mod for it is wynntils and that’s 1.12.2, is just stick with what ur using

And if u mean the full body glow it’s an optifine thing go to options and navigate around for the “fast render” option and turn it off so it’s just an outline for party members

 

1.16.x or 1.12.x are the best rn.
Not sure about 1.17 but there are probably lots of bugs.

I recommend 1.16 as it has many good performance and other mods - however 1.12.2 has the popular mod Wynntils.

 

1.12.2 is generally considered the "best" option and seems to have the fewest issues still. It also has Wynntils, which can be a bonus if you're so inclined.

 

i think there are a few sound effects used that are past 1.12.2, but otherwise it seems to be the best version in terms of performance

 

1.16.5 (soon 1.17.1) has exclusive sound effects but 1.12.2 is less buggy

 

I'd say 1.12.2 if you want Wynntils, and 1.16 if you want performance (and extra immersion)
You should probably try both and see what you like best
