What has happened to wynncraft?

I recently started a character with a friend and almost the entire way thru the game, we encountered countless bugs and issues along the way(npc disappear, teleports not working etc). This game has had a place in my heart for a long time but it was pretty disappointing to see the amount of issues we ran into, especially since this was their first introduction to it. I unfortunately don't have any media of this but even if I did, I feel it'd be a 30+ minute video of different bugs. But for example we were doing a point of no return and almost every step of the quest we both had to /class or switch worlds completely just to move on to the next part. Pretty frustrating but I was wondering if people had the same amount of bugs as we did, and if this has been in progress in fixing. I encourage the devs or somebody to do a full playthru again to hopefully see for themselves cause this was pretty disappointing, as my friend pretty much quit because of this and I don't really blame him.

 

Point of No return has been buggy since forever, but I don't think general bugs are extremely common in most cases. What were you doing when the bugs appeared, and were you using any mods? Which Minecraft version do you use?

 

most recent version and i was using wynntils and distant horizons but my friend wasn't we would have similar bugs

 

Yeah, same experience here. I love all the new features that wynncraft has added over time but with more complications added to the game the points of failure add up over the smallest stuff that if you dont have the know how to fix, then its just not a good first time experience. I have a friend that I tried to get into wynn but with the amount of small bugs he ran into just made the game too complicated for a first timer

 

guys i think the bugginess is a mods problem.
i play the game with no mods and rarely encounter glitches that can't be solved with a single /class

 

like i said above my friend wasnt using mods and experienced bugs throughout his entire playthrough

 

You said that teleports failed and npcs weren't where they were listed; at which specific instances did this occur?

 

If we're talking about buggy messes that involve teleporters, my first guess is Tower of Ass-ension.

 

i wish i kept record of it but i just let it go thinking itd get better, thats why i made a post here instead of making an actual bug report

Is it with newer content or older content do you feel?
