    It will pop off, and into your inventory, and if your inventory is full, it will go onto the ground

    your armor and accessories will pop off into your inventory, so make sure you have enough free inventory slots to hold them.

    edit: oh, and obviously the armor without skill point reqs won't pop off. for some reason i thought i should point this out.

    To prevent this, I usually just take off my armor before I reset skill points.
