What happened to rune prices?

Did something happen in the 2.0.3 update to make runes way more common? Farming uth runes has been my primary LE-making strategy for a while now but the prices went from 8eb per to now about 3eb per, depending on fluctuations.
It's really annoying because now it's probably not worth the time to do and I still have nearly a stack of avia feathers (which have also dropped in price).

And if I had to guess more awareness to the money-making method might be factor, though idrktbh.

 

Are rune drops from lootrunning that common? I've only done a few, but it seems like one of the less common pulls, esp for the kinds of numbers we'd be talking about to cause a 60-70% drop in price on an item so frequently bought.

 

Given how many people are lootrunning, and how they're actually pretty common imo, thats probably the main reason why prices are tanking.

 

I made around a stack of uth and nii+30 tol within around 10 hours of lootrunning and just taking the runes. Additionally, while Lootrunning in corkus i have obtained atleast a stack of Avia feathers, even though I only lootran for 3h or so. If everyone else is getting the same amount as me it is only logical for the prices to crash

 

yeah prices crash because everyone is lootrunning. Literally ANY item that is a lootrun reward has more than halved in price. Lootrunning doesn't even have to be the most efficient method of obtaining runes, it's just that everyone is doing it so a lot of runes are obtained. The same would happen if everyone started farming avia feathers (but that won't happen because it's very boring and not a new feature)
