What Happened To Armor Skins?

I'm not sure if I'm alone here, but I really liked the armor skins! I noticed that after the update, the armor textures where changed, but armor skins removed, so what happened to them? I checked the change log and didn't see anything about them (though I could have missed it). Have they been removed? Are they being updated and will be back out later? Is there a toggle for them, in which case, what's the command? As doing /help doesn't pop up any toggles related to armor skins.

 

They'll be back soon enough.
But because it's gonna take a while to get through that many armor sets worth of textures, don't expect soon to be actually soon.
