Note: This is meant to be light hearted and funny, not serious. This is meant to be a joke at Wynncraft logic, not insulting it. Thank you!

    ---

So like 2 second ago I ago I saw a thread asking what is LE? In that thread they were asking what it stands for, but it got me thinking.

    What exactly is liquified emerald?

So you take 64 emeralds and make them into a 1x1x1 meter block. You then take 64 of this and melt them down into a bottle?

Firstly (I may be wrong on this) but an emerald is a green gem, part of the same family as rubies and sapphires. Made from a carbon matrix. It don't melt. So I don't really know how liquifing it is seven possible?

Secondly the whole bottle is about the size of an emerald. So let's say due to liquification and what not it takes a bit more. Let's say the liquid is about the size of 3 emeralds. Holy Smoke the merchant just took my other 63 blocks and 61 emeralds! Unless bottles cost that much, but the bottle merchant at Ragni sells the real cheap.

Ok, next part. Let's say, just for example, it does take 64 blocks of emerald, super heated into a liquid form, to make LE. Why not just turn the bottle upside down, and super heat the liquid until he get gas? Fallowing the laws of gasses, the gas would either be lighter than air, in which we could make it into a form of fuel for airships, and it would, be kept inside of a upside down bottle. Or let's say it's heavier than air, and we keep it in a normal bottle. It would still me much lighter to carry around than liquid.

That would still only take 1 LE, but fallowing the rules of Wynn, it would probably take about 64 LE. But imagine of it was true, and lighter than air. To fill an airship with emerald gas you would need about the space you need to fill in emerald blocks times 3. Not very expensive for an airship.

And can you eat emeralds? No? So why can you drink LE? The guy in jungle fever can. And let's say he was living about how that works and it's toxic. When we could use the emerald gas (assuming it's heavier than air) for chemical warfare.

Also heads up under Detlas there is an LE maker machine, meaning it's not magic.

    --------------

Wait did I legit just go into depth on the logic and chemistry of emeralds? Man I need to get a life. Sorry for this rant, I just kind of found it a bit funny. Pls no hate. Feel free to comment!

    This is a game.
Physical attributes of emeralds don't seem to apply here, nor does physics or many things in life.

Yeah I know. That's the whole point. I'm kind of making a joke at how that works. It's not meant to be serious, but light hearted.

Thats honestly a BS excuse, every world, artificial or not, has rules, and WynnCraft is no exception. We're trying to figure out how the rules work.

But in games, things can simply happen for no reason because there are no limits or boundaries as there are in the real world.

First off, REALLY intresting, never thought about this before...

Maybe villagers can actually consume emerald seing as their not human? This would maybe affect their chemistry on a molecular level or idk, be a drug of some sort?

Maybe emeralds (in the game, not real life) have a special rarer chemical/alloy/something in it that LE merchants are able to extract and concentrate? It may not be considered (physically) an emerald but a different pure element all together, making it rarer, and as such worth much much more... However, due to it being used as currency for the sake of simplicity they call it liquid "emerald"?

Yes. But under Detlas there is an LE creating machine. Meaning it's not magically made

Man I really want see GE (gaseous emerald) added into the game for 64 LE, and a quest based around it and how it can be used as a chemical weapon or for airships or something

If you throw in a random item theres a slim chance an emerald pops out. So yes, there is redstone.

But pertaining to the topic, @SPYROHAWK Ive always felt the LE item is simply a cosmetic symbol of wealth. Like a $100 bank note isnt worth $100, you cant sell a flimsy cotton bill for more money. My theory is they just use a green liquid representative of emeralds and substitute that for a higher value currency.

Theories in order of least satisfying to most:
    1. Magic
    2. The EB we get in our inventory aren't the same size as placed EB and emeralds are actually really smalls with a big inventory/ground symbol (or they're not like earth emeralds and are easily compressible) so emeralds can be pressed into blocks and melted into bottles with ease
    3.
That was the most popular idea last time this was asked and I was kinda just about to post that

    I love science!

The Green hue in emeralds comes from Beryllium, and it is bonded in a sea of aluminum and silicon trioxide. Regular emeralds are entire real, and make sense; they exist.
Emerald blocks, are a cubic metre of emerald. A single contiguous block... That is insane. Any emerald larger than a hand, would be broken and discolored with impurities. But through an insane amount of craftmanship, I suppose a villager might be able to create a massive continuum of interlocked emeralds.
Liquid Emeralds don't exist. The components would seperate. For the LE stage and beyond, you no longer have true emeralds.
Therefore, 4th tier emeralds could be anything. yup yup.
