What Ever Became Of Those 4 Stone Plates In ???

I remember everyone thinking - for a time - that they were very important, yet when they turned out to be irrelevant to completing the quest it seems like everyone kind of... forgot?

Were they a red herring, or is there something more?

I can't seem to find any information about people using the plates post-quest-completion. For all I know they were just there to throw off and detect cheaters (which is almost certainly how they were discovered imo).

Anyone know anything?

There were four stone plates around wynn, that when a person was on each of them, it would tell all the players that they didn't have permission. Of course, it was in the ??? text no permission style, so everybody thought it had to do with ???.

Interesting. Probably something they were working on, but then threw away the concept but forgot to remove everything? That's my guess.

They hadn't completed the quest when they used the plates... If 3 other with completed ??? want to help me replicate that would be awesome.
