What Does Life Steal Do

its a stat on my helm and idk what it does

 

It basically means every time u melee smth there is a chance to regain health
I think every time it triggers it’s X health regained every 4 seconds where X is the life steal id on ur helmet

 

life steal gives you a chance to regain that amount of health (your total life steal, if you have multiple pieces with it) every time you melee. the chance is calculated based on your weapon speed to trigger every 3 seconds on average, assuming you constantly are hitting something

 

There's just a chance, but it increases the slower you attack speed is

Also, it's not just on helmets

 

take note also that if your ls is negative, hitting mobs with melee hits can remove some of your hp, altho it can't kill you, it can make you go all the way down to 1 hp which is not nice

 

Yeah I just said helm cause they said the life steal was on their helmet specifically
And yeah forgot to mention the chance increases with slower attack speed
