For the purposes of guild xp, what determines what territory (if any) combat xp is earned in?

My assumption is that it would be one of the following:

    1. The territory the player is currently standing in
    2. The territory the mob is standing in when it dies
    3. The territory the slain mob spawned in
    4. Some other criteria that I can't think of

For example, if I'm standing in the Forest of Eyes shooting a ranged attack into the church where the All Seeing Witnesses spawn (which as far as I can tell is not a guild territory at all), will the guild that controls the Forest of Eyes get xp? What if I lure the witnesses over the line into the forest of eyes and kill them there? Are they locked to their guildless area and no matter what won't generate guild xp outside of /guild xp? And if manipulating the territory xp is earned in is possible, is this considered an exploit/bad form?

I believe it's where they are when you kill them. However I never really wondered about this, and am now doubting myself

I've always assumed it was based on where you are, but yeah. I have no idea.
