What Class Should I Go 2nd Playthrough

almost done my assassin playthrough im aiming to be Eo and qira soon, but I don't want to 100% since I want to 100% a class i like the most so what class should I pick.

I want something fun.

I went archer, went shaman first but was not feeling it ill try it later maybe. Almost done leveling archer up and ill try mage next

Warrior is similar to assassin and will provide a bit of a challenge.

 

Warrior is essentially a more difficult version of assassin, so if you want a challenge mode, go for warrior.
Archer sucks early game, and you will struggle with large amounts of mobs, but late game archer is terrifying with its sheer damage.
Mage is also pretty balanced, and you won't need massive amounts of heal pots
Shaman isn't as good from the nerfs, but it is still satisfying to destroy a crap ton of enemies using your totem

 

I find contrasting gameplays to be pretty fun. Assasin is up in your face kind of gameplay. So I'd suggest archer if your good at dodging attacks, or mage if you want to be somewhat tanky and helpful. Note that mage is extremely helpful in raids, while archer is mostly only good if you provide high damage.

 

Warrior - Best class to go to after assassin

Mage or Shaman - Do after Warrior or after they get a buff

Archer - Pain in the ass until lvl 95

 

I'd say mage, you can use this class to and max it profs with it and get loot running loot for it

 

i'd recommend archer, it's fun and will give you a different perspective to the game (switching from the shortest range class to the highest range one)

the other 3 are good too, just play whatever you like

 

Shaman has low def so its quite a challenge

Def shaman, other classes are good and cci is bad ig but it's still the best class.

 

mage is a pretty easy, fun, and useful class. But if you are not looking for "easy" then definitely go for archer, its a bit harder but extremely fun.

Take archer for the big damage picture

 

Make a mage next 100%. Mage has strong utility (best lring class, good proff class, can be support in raids), and assassin is good in combat, so it makes the most sense to level a mage.

 

Archer is a pain until endgame then it can easily do the highest damage of all classes, although it is a bit squishy. I personally don't really find it a very fun class but that might be due to the couple hundred hours playing it.

Mage can be a great support for end-game content like EO, LI and raids, as well, it's probably the best class for loot running. Playing through as mage isn't that hard as it has good survivability and can still do enough damage to get everything done.

Shaman post nerfs isn't as broken as before but is still a fun class to play that can kill almost anything pretty easily throughout the whole game. It can be decent support (not as good as mage but still), the only issue with shaman is how squishy it can be.

Warrior is hard. It's like assassin but can't do nearly as much damage. Once you get into endgame, much like archer, warrior becomes actually pretty good and can crank out pretty good numbers while still having great survivability. Not only does warrior have war scream for a defence and damage boost but with 1.20 RotS and Infernal Impulse exist which also allow warriors to heal themselves and other players making it possible to use it as a support class.


For a balanced class you could use to cover a lot of content pretty easily, go mage
Don't think archer or shaman are the best option because you already have an assassin which is a good damage class
If you want a bit of a challenge without having to learn a completely different playstyle go warrior, it can also help to have it for late game with all that it can be used for

I started assassin first too! Out of all the classes I played, I would say SHAMAN is probably the next most fun. I agree with other comment saying that MAGE is the most practical at this point, and I agree solely for its Lootrun capacity .

Shamon sounds super fun imo! Go for it!

 

Shaman is fun but you can die quite easily in my experience. But i could just be bad :D
