What Class Has The Highest Possible Dps

Because I am not far enough in the game to test this I was wondering someone else knows.

 

Archer.

 

Either archer or assassin, depending on the build and items used. Archer can do some ridiculously high damage with a single, multi-hitting spell or with a rage grandma build while assassin can use the damage boost from vanish to stack their damage ridiculously high with heavy melee or a cataclysm glass cannon spell build. I'm not sure which one actually comes out on top. I'd probably guess assassin tops the chart overall with a handful of specific builds using cataclysm followed by archer for more average builds.

if you want single-hit damage then Heavy Melee assassin witg Quake (still it has remarkable dps).
For dps propably nighthawk archer

 

Crafted Tierstack Melee Assassin probably has the highest theoretical, as per this thread, totaling around 183,000 dps if you add up everything. It could be possible that nighthawk archer can outperform that but I'm yet to see the math
