Hello Wynncraftians!

I'm here today with a simple theory based off the Shattered Minds quest that proves Gavel is actually Dern (just kidding). But seriously, here we go:


So in the quest, Shattered Minds, you, the player, supposedly gets 'high' and goes on a
psychedelic trip to la-la land. I'm here to tell you what exactly you're sniffin'. This theory's
gonna split in two Parts, one by me and one by BioTemmie.

Part A: The Characteristics

In this quest, you are sent to retrieve some blue mushrooms in a cave. Now I'm here to judge,
based on it's appearance, what mushroom that is. Now there are a lot of blue mushrooms out
there, but few are that large. So that takes a lot of contestants out of the game. But the color
is also important. While many psychedelic mushrooms are known for staining blue, none are
blue originally except for the Norwegian Blue Shrooms. These shrooms meet all the
requirements of being large and originally blue.



The definition surely fits the description as well:
"From the Fjords of Norway come these Giant Blue Psychedelic Shrooms that will surely
make your evening an unforgettable event filled with an adventure of a lifetime."

Part B: The Effects

Now the amount of mushrooms that deal the effects that are seen in the quest are pretty
large, so let's just focus on the Norwegian Blue Shrooms effects and how they line up with
what is seen in the quest.

So the effects seen in the quest are:

• Feeling "absolutely delightful"
• Passing out
• Hallucinating

Now if you look at the Norwegian Blue Shrooms, some effects are:

• Increased euphoria, which definitely matches with the quest.
• Fatigue, which is seen when you wake up after the quest from passing out.
• Psychedelic Hallcucinations, which are seen... everywhere... in... the quest.

So obviously these shrooms are very alike.

So could it be that you found yourself a Norwegian Blue Shroom in that cave?
Who knows. Until then, this has been just a theory, a Wynn Theory!​

 

Good to know, but I don't care what gets me high, as long as it gets me high correctly, like this did.

Or the player simply suffers from visual and auditory hallucinations.

Or prolonged Speed usage, or Marijuana combined with Adoral.

 

If you posted something suggesting you were going to make a theory on it, I'm sorry. We didn't copy you though because we were talking about this for a while, now.

 

Still waiting on that topographical parallel between wynncraft and the real world, and now we know it's in Norway.
This is referencing the globe in General's Orders.

Who was the GM who made shattered minds? Perhaps you can ask him if that was the mushroom he meant.

Finally a theory that is short, simple, and to the point with some solid evidence to back it up. Now I wonder if @Selvut283 actually based the shrooms in-game off of these ones...

Good theory and very short! I hope that you can explain about signification of "white rabbit" in this quest!

 

You're high, do you really expect anything that happens while you're high to make sense?

 

Oh. So that would make sense based on if you are high maybe you did hallcucting some white rabbit.

 

I feel like it's referencing Alice in Wonderland.
