What are trophy points, and how does one "buy" one for the achievement?

    I saw in the forum achievements that there's one for buying a trophy point, but I can't find any button anywhere about it. I also don't know how people give trophy points (I have a few given to me, and have no idea how it works).

    What are trophy points, and what do they do if anything?
