What are Corrupted Dungeons?

Hi, so I was reading on the Wynncraft Wiki about some dungeons, and I saw that there are Corrupted Dungeons, what are the use of this corrupted versions and are there pros and cons of the dungeons?

 

They are just harder versions of the normal dungeons that you can access them at the forgery and the first one can be run at lvl 65 earliest iirc. Each one can be run starting from when u are 5 lvls below their level and takes no quest to unlock. The pros are better rewards, more xp, and just better in general. The con is that it’s harder and they keys are harder to get, but that’s it.

 

Hello! Corrupted dungeons are mid-late game dungeons available in the Forgery (iirc west of Cinfras)

These dungeons are meant to be more difficult (sorry in advance CT) filler dungeons.

Pros of these dungeons:
- They are actually a decent method to level up! Though grind parties are more common, you will sometimes see people use Forgery (specific Corrupted Dungeons) to level up.
- Forgery Chests! It's a content which can be unlocked if you beat the dungeon while matching the kill quota. Opening them may grant a good amount of XP (not scaled after 1.20.3 iirc), Runes (used to repair broken keys), Emeralds etc. The rewards get better if you can defeat different dungeons while matching the kill quota, without dying.

Cons of these dungeons:
- They are not the most efficient method to obtain XP. I personally had tried running the dungeons fastest as I could. CDS took ~2.5 minutes while CIB took nearly 6 minutes, the XP rewards : effort involved is somewhat worse than simply grinding at grindspots sometimes.
- It's somewhat pricey if you decide to run the dungeon yourself (Right as of now I believe it cost 2-3LE and approx. 30 minutes to finish a full run, even then you don't really get a lot)

The main uses for these dungeons:
- Level up! If you don't have a party at the moment and ran out of quests/discoveries, these dungeons can provide a decent chunk of XP still.
- Mythics! (Not really advised) If you complete all 7 dungeons, you have a 1% chance to find mythics from the forgery chest.

You'll have a 1.5% mythic chance for a 8/8 forgery chest as well as a pity system (overall better forgery rewards)

 

Do you know how much the rate increases per completed run? And will the pity rate reset back to 0% if you die?

 

Pity only goes away if you get a mythic.
