Media Weird Forum Issue

I have been getting this stupid bug happening on the forums for a while and I have no idea why it is happening, so many times I see this freakin Steve in a cat onesie or whatever it is, its all over the forums

I'd really like to know if anyone else is getting this issue. I decided not to post this in bug reports since those are for the game and I wanted to know if anyone else has this and if I posted it there, no one would see it

 

Please let this plague end

 

...I don't know, I just want it gone, I hate that skin, I don't care if anyone has it, its annoying me now

I think mojang changed the default skin for April fool's 2020 and it fucked with the forums code and it's been broken since

 

Its been around for several months now and all the regulars have just gotten used to it
Its possible an admin did it as a prank or something and no one ever bothered to change it back

It’s funny though.

Changing the default skin forum icon to a Steve in a cat suit onesie is TOTALLY something I’d do if I was an admin of a big server like Wynn.

Props to whoever did this, it’s actually a really funny troll.

It's seriously been the default the entire time I've been on the forums, what's it normally like? And is the weird thing where skin pfps show up as the default in some places normal, or related to this?

 

It's normally just vanilla minecraft Steve

We should use the Steve from the Wynncraft texture pack

 

The default skin on the forums uses not the default mc skin steve but the skin of the player named "Steve", which is probably owned by mojang or something idk but if you look here at name mc for the skin changes, https://namemc.com/profile/Steve.1 you can see it was changed to the cat Steve like 270 days ago or something. Hence why default profile skin since on the forums uses that. I don't remember if it was changed for a joke or if the account got hacked or what, but it is what it is I guess

They didn't say why it changed? If anything, I personally expected that the forums would default to the Steve skin not the skin of the actual player "Steve"
Nobody actually explained why
And also, I've heard the account was hacked and changed rather than changed for a joke on April fool's by mojang. Personally I believe that story more since don't you think mojang would have changed it back the day after?
