Assassin/Ninja Weird Build Idea - Cataclysm + Statue?

Hello, Wynncraft. I challenged myself tonight to make a build that used Cataclysm and Statue, and the results were quite surprising. I think it might be a great endgame build, but I'm not for sure, as I'm not the greatest of build makers. Nevertheless, I did try. Let's get started.

So for the gear, we are using:
Helmet: Call of the Void
Chestplate: Sparkling Plate
Leggings: Leictreach Makani
Boots: Statue
Ring #1: Concentration
Ring #2: Barrage
Necklace: Clock Amulet
Bracelet: Follow The Wind
Weapon: Cataclysm

Now for the stats of this build. (Note, the following stats are based as if all items are at maximum value.)

-460 Earth Defense
-41% WS
101% Thorns
107% Reflection
+76% Thunder Damage

+14% Thunder Defense
-35/4 Lifesteal
+7% Health Regen

This was just too interesting of a build idea for me to keep to myself, and I would really appreciate your thoughts on this!

Cumulonimbus is a good replacement for call of the void. Did you forget cotv has negative agility and life steal?

 

As one of the earliest cata wielder I myself have tried to use statue before as well, but ultimately gave up on this idea due to the following reasons. While statue can counter cataclysm's -hp, the gears you put just to counter the -ws of statue are already wasting a lot of good gear options that can put in other aspect such as mana and elemental defence.

Some very good cataclysm build with over 10k hp has already been made utilising high hp of hive gears and combination with other elemental defence gears to make cata basically a beast to deal with, without the massive -ws ofc

If you're into making class builds, whether theoretically or practically, you can take a look in the various selection of builds people made in here, maybe you can get some inspiration in how class build experts balance various aspects of builds like damage, defence, mana etc.
