Warrior/Knight Water/tank Build

So today im going to share with you a build that is based on a spell damage for warrior and sorta doubles as a tank. the build does require multiple hive runs (3) but there are substitutes for them. \
oh uhhhhh yeah help me with a name for this

The build
the main build is below if you dont want to read it all​

Helm:
Now there are two main options for this build that i think are the strongest but a few other options if you want them.
So the main helm we are going to use is anima infused helm. I chose this for its high spell damage and water damage which together give 40% damage boost. then it also gives a large amount of elemental defenses which help for the tank in this build.
The 2nd option is better for Pve and that is the nii helm. the reason i chose this over stardust is because it the 40% defense is very very powerful with the other main armors you will see later in the build
Now a few other options for this build is: Stardust (note you NEED stardust if you want to use idol due to hive nerfs), Quartzite helm, third eye. The reason these helms work is simply the damage they can help you deal but they lack the tank aspect the build is centered around, hence why they are subs.

Chestplate:
The main plate for this build is rather self explanatory. Boreal patterned agnis, i chose it for its mana regen and water damage while not losing a bunch or defense like aquarius. a few other options if you dont have it are: libra, Nii plate, Stillwater and ornamental plate
All three of these sub plates are nowhere near as good as boreal but still can work decently as they have decent defense and damage but lack the full on tank that boreal has

Leggings:
I chose vaward/trench scourer or water sanc honestly depending on the rest of the build. if you have full hive then there is enough hp for water sanc to be viable, if not however it then is a better idea to go vaward or trench scourer as they give hp/damage and decent defense (vaward has powder slots)

Boots:
Quite simply chose hive boots, they give high hp some spell damage and water damage while still being viable and tanky. if you dont have these then id use memento as the life steal is not a huge issue as you will see later.

Rings:
Prisms...dont have much more to say if you really need mana for some more spell spam then use moonpool or raindrop

Bracelet/Necklace:
Ive chosen golden hydro for this build as the intel req for diamond hydro is too high if you are not using stardust. the hydro accessories give mana and damage that are very helpful for the build

Main build:
Anima-Infused Helmet
Boreal-Patterned Aegis
Vaward/Water sanc
Gaea-Hewn Boots

Prism 2x
Golden Hydro Bracelet
Golden Hydro Necklace

Weapons​

And now for weapons!

Warrior So this build is meant for warrior but can work for every class. Now for warrior the main weapon is tidebinder for the water defense, mana, and damage overall. the best secondary weapons are sheet ice, braker and infused hive spear (all with water powders)
Note the ids on the braker need to be high water and spell damage. also on tide you need 3/4 mana at least and high water defense along with good spell damage

Mage i think the best choice is requiem or lament with the idol version of the build.

Assassin i currently have no clue. nirvana maybe? eh just use madib's build

Archer would be best with spring but only with the idol alt. if you are not using that then use torrential tide or cluster/infused hive.

Subs​

As for what items to sub the most important hive item is the chestplate and you should get it first. second most important is the boots as nii helm is the strongest for this build when it comes to the sub boots and helm. change the helm last as its the smallest buff from the alt item. for Li items you want to sub the necklace for royal stormy and the bracelet for prognosticum.
Now the idol alt of this build you simply need a high sp stardust and diamond hydro items and the intel req should be hit at 120. The weakness of this build is that it lacks the high water defense that you gain from tide but you get a higher damage output (i think)

Powders​

Powdering this build is quite simple you need to fully t6 water the build (t4/t5) so you got 20% concentration. once you do that balance out the extra slots with earth or air powders as those are the weakest defenses

this build DOES work with the new hive nerfs that are coming soon. infact before nerfs the original worked with idol. I am not responsible for further nerfs done to hive or stardust unless selvut/salted says to me something like "you single handedly made us nerf hive more because of your god tier build" if this is the case this thread will get taken down ;) I currently do not have any footage of me soloing li with it but it does work if you are careful and use nii helm on cybel. other than that i got nothing more to say so blah blah blah insert copywrite crap here. bye

Umm you might wanna edit the thing on Tide that says it is the best Raw Damage weapon to best Overall Damage, since Infidel is far better in Raw Damage builds due to Mana Steal, Low SP, Raw Spell, and Int Boosts. I believe you intended to say that Tide deals the best Overall Damage as well.

also infidel gives an annoyingly low amount of intel but i guess works

 

I suppose it is low but Raw Damage builds usually aim for 68 Int and using Whitecap gives 8 on top of its 50 giving 58. Infidels 10 Int makes it 68, it's just quite so perfect.

well i will add that as it seems to be fine. never really thought of that cause....i dont really like infidel

ill test it out when i get back. sadly im gone for the weekend so i doubt i will be able to test it
