Mage/Dark Wizard Help Water Mage (19/11/18)

    Hello everybody.
    In the last half a year or so i haven't really been on wynncraft much, and i noticed when i logged on that alot of things has had reworks, and i'm really quite lost on the new meta, so i'd appreciate it if anybody would be able to make a build based around water.

    A few things to know:
    I'm level 100 so all items are available
    I'd like a build with medium-high spell damage output, focus around water, and probably air as a pseudo-element, with good mana regen (if possible, 8-10, or atleast a decent bit)
    Decently good elemental defense (You can use powders of any tier of any kind) and decent health (8k or more if possible)
    LI: If you're planning on adding li items, please include alternatives as i'm not at li level, but it's good to know how big of an impact it makes.
    Hive: Feel free to use any hive item.
    Mythics: I'd appreciate if you don't use mythics, but if you must please include alternatives.

    I know this is asking alot and very specific, however you don't have to follow these exactly, i just wanted to specify what i'm looking for, but i know there's a good chance that all of this is not possible. Feel free to adjust around this if you think there's better options, however i'd like to stick with a spell based water mage, with decent defensive capabilities, rest is more or less up in the air.

    Don't feel bad for being specific, as it helps us know exactly what you're looking for. The more detail you put into what you want the better the build we can make for you. It's better than some people just saying "please give me a build k thanks" and we have no idea what preference they want.     probably put the extra intel you have left into intel/agility, and if you get it swap prognosticum to diamond hydro brace.

    Post Edit: After looking a bit, i found that stellar increases overall damage and elemental defenses, the only issue is my heals will be 3 mana (max int 100) which is yeah, however once i get diamond hydro it goes down to 2, so i think i'll be using that, but i appreciate the input

    Idk if you're being sarcastic or not but I consider 10k the standard threshold for meteor damage

    it's serious..
    you should be doing 10k or more spell in any class on 95-100
    - at least one spell should cover this standard

    Spin can be 6k wtf that's pathetic spin damage

    That's the equivalent of saying "I have 3k bombs BUT DON'T WORRY I have 12k arrow storms so it's fine!!!!"
    My point is, while I do agree the meteors are only average (10k), saying only one spell needs to hit 10k is extremely flawed.

    The general rule that I usually apply is that the main spells a class uses the most for damage generally speaking (a.k.a spin, uppercut or sometimes bash, bomb, and meteor) should hit near or higher a certain threshold of damage. Depending on the build ofc, certain ones will be higher or lower, but the threshold generally applied is ~10k+ for meteor/bomb/uppercut and ~7.5-8k+ for spin. For example, I would expect a manna build to hit around 6k-7k spins as it is a more defensive dagger, in which case lower spin damage would be fine, where as I would expect infused hive dagger thunder powdered to hit around 9.5k-10k spins since it is much more offensive. In the end, it depends on the build. Generally speaking, water builds aren't known for hitting the damages that a thunder build for example would, so I would probably apply a slightly less standard or the average standard to it, and in this scenario that is 10k meteors for a water mage build.
    ^This doesn't include most mythics, in which case it would definitely vary a lot more.

    tl;dr basically it depends on the build and will vary depending on said build

    It took the use of Master Hive armor for me to reach 10k bombs on my planned build (and I still barely have 9k health).
