Was There An Update That Screwed With Chests?

    every time I try to open a chest it tells me "you do not have permission to use this in this area" and only fixes for that one chest when I join another server. Anyone else having this issue or was it in an update to disable chests or something that I missed.

    I have that issue when I try to open a chest with my bow, simply switch to an item or your fist :P

    Did you try to open the chest with your weapon? If so, your weapon is a textured block/half slab and the server thinks that you're trying to place block. Just use your hand to open the chest
