Warrior - How does manachism work?

I know from a previous thread that manachism needs damage to be activated, but I don't know if self damage counts, e.g. negative life regen, life steel, blood pact, etc.

Please, I need answers - I wanna use manachism outside of combat.

I can’t speak for the others, but i know that -hpr doesn’t count as taking damage. It counts for corrupted specifically because corrupted specifies “max hp % lost” without specifying how it was lost. I think life steal is in the same boat but am not confident. Blood pact on the other hand very well may proc it as the damage tick sound plays when it’s used, though I haven’t tested it
