Walkspeed Mage Worth Trying?

Currently I use a dps clock setup but I kind of wanted to switch over to big walkspeed instead as a secondary. I was thinking 100 agility 20 strength 75 intelligence, so I can use the following:

Aries or Third Eye
Booster Plate or Millenium
Saggitarius or clock legs
Wind Mimic or clock boots

Of course, the first set gives me about 100% walkspeed assuming my pieces are all max or 1% off, and the second set is my current build for 10k meteors. Problem is that there's no high level air mythic wand found currently so I have no real main weapon to use, I own a pure but it kinda sucks even at 400%. Guess I could just use whimsy or lunar spine...

Yes, try air/water mage or whatever you were planning. Because I use air/water with a bit of thunder it works a lot better than when I had a water/fire build before. My spell damage pretty much went from +30% to +80%.
