wait a minute... this isnt ffxiv!

hey all! decided i'd play wynncraft again after literal years. last time i played this game was in middle school which is wild to think about. I never got past level 60 but younger me still decided to beg for a rank from his parents. (your boy's in college now).

decided to play wynncraft again with some friends to scratch the mmorpg fix. surprisingly i've gotten super invested in playing and am having a better time than expected! I don't think i've ever used a forum before but I just decided why not when scrolling through.

obligatory fun facts section:

* my original slot was an archer. When i logged back in to see my progress, I was absolutely lost in the middle of the ocean.

* I'm an avid writer!

* I've dumped an embarrassing amount of time in other mmorpgs like Lost Ark, FFXIV, and Escape from Tarkov.

* I've been playing minecraft since I was five years old!

Give me a few weeks, I'll be raiding with you all in no time!

 

Welcome back, soldier! How was your retirement? Not many get to it to ask for it, so I hope you enjoyed it. On that note, what prompted you to return? Did the king need your help, or were your friends feeling lonely? By the way, did you keep any mementos of your previous travels? More specifically, of the Nether?

Sad to see you changing paths, though I can understand the motivation. Archery, while the most elegant of arts, is often not as thrilling as the other ones. Warriors, on the other hand, do get a bit too much of it, in my opinion.

If you ever see me, feel free to talk to me! We can go to the nearest inn and exchange stories. I am a bit too old to fight, but when I was younger I saw things you wouldn't believe!

You say you are a writer, what kind? Are you a chronicler or a storyteller?

 

One of my old guildmates contacted me and we had a little chat about our old time together. Inspired me to come back and explore the world through a newer, wiser set of eyes. It was nice revisiting places that I still remembered, and even more fun venturing into places I didn't know existed. Being younger, I couldn't wrap my head around some of the old tasks assigned to me, and as such I left many missions uncompleted. I remember I would just spend hours going to places I wasn't prepared for and getting send back to Detlas via relatively powerful enemies. Thinking about it now, that's probably why I found my old archer in the middle of the ocean.

For my writing, I focus entirely on storyteller. Triumphant tales of unlikely allies coming together are quite enjoyable to write, and also to read according to my peers!

 

Oh, a curious traveler! Exploration is a large part of the game, especially where you were not entirely supposed to. I remembering going around the world border and ending up in front of the Fruma gate at a relatively low level. And then hours of exploring every little bit of the map. You wouldn't believe what lies in the forgotten corners...

A storyteller... do you have something to show us? A man of such profession is always welcome around here, especially if they tell stories of us as well :D

 

For now I have no current work to show but, I'm sure I'll write something wynncraft themed eventually :)
