He gets up and waits for the phoenix to land.
"Yep!" Anne calls.
"If you wish." Artemis says happily, kneeling down to one of the young dragons, the dragon licking her hand.
"Aw, those lil' dragons are cute." I say, walking over.
The mother dragon looks up, before growling, picking up her young with her tail and putting them behind her.
"Whoa...jeez." I say, surprised.
"Your reputation surpasses your knowledge, apparently." She says, stepping towards you and hugging you.
The mother dragon calms down a little, though she still keeps her young away from me.
"I think it's wrong to judge someone based on appearance instead of personality and actions." I say, annoyed.
"You appear to me a genocidal demon, and you are."
"She hasn't seen me kill people though, she's just going off of a stereotype." I say.
"Shall we head to the coast then? To meet up with the Leviathan."
"Well, yeah, but other than Alice, what shadow hasn't killed anyone?"
"That's the intention. Climb on!"
The phoenix lowers her neck near the path, waiting.
"Uh, babies?" I ask.
"Okay, any shadow that's reached maturity."
Sgavrinn starts approaching the group low to the ground to avoid most of the brush, sniffing around to make his way towards Ihra and Artemis.
I glance toward Sgavrinn.
"Oh look, it's your best friend." I say.
The mother dragon looks around for Sgavrinn, before growling.
He quickly climbs on top of the phoenix.
He pauses, snout poking out of the brush behind the group.
He whimpers, shifting around a bit before poking his head all the way through the brush.
She takes off, circling the island before landing down near the craggy base of the volcano.
"You'll have to get closer to the sea on your own. Safe travels!" Ren says, waving as Anne hops off.
He gets off.
"We'll maybe see you later again. Thanks for the ride."
He waves Ren and the phoenix goodbye before he starts walking towards the sea.
"Yeah, no problem!"
The phoenix returns to the volcano, going inside once again.
"Well, you got to see the phoenix. Check that off your bucket list." Anne says, hopping onto your shoulder.
The mother dragon lets out a roar aimed at Sgavrinn, her young scampering inside the dugout. The mother dragon then pushes her snout against Artemis' bow, looking her in the eyes.
"Hey, it's ok. He's not hostile, he's a friend." Artemis reassures.
The mother dragon seems unconvinced, still growling at Sgavrinn.
He bows his head, growing a flower near Artemis as he slowly worms his way towards his owner.
"It was different than I expected. Would think there would be someone riding it." He chuckles.
"Well, I don't know many legendary beasts who just let any old person ride them and command them."
