..and definitely not me being bored on an airplane with no way to check any of this

    enjoy!!

how to HIC (assuming that you’ve actually played the game)

pick a class that you find fun and not because you think it’ll be ez, all the classes are balanced for this except maybe mage has more potential inventory space

ranged is good for grinding and archer is good, mage can heal, warrior is warrior and assassin is fancy boi

anyways now that you’ve made your epic HIC class just /skiptutorial lmao

you could farm materials for ten minutes to have enough for armor and get the t1 tools (which cost literally four emeralds) but ehhhhh

you get a weapon that’s basically the exact same as the crafted one except a bit worse, this doesn’t matter really

so the first thing you do is run straight outta Ragni and do “Enzan’s Brother” for some xp and also materials

craft a weapon (use some flesh as well, maybe 1-2 because muh durability)

then destroy literally everything with your weapon (ahem grinding spot) and maybe get a few crafting levels, it doesn’t really matter

you should buy tools and farm fish and copper (there’s two good spots there, just get a bunch of ingots)

Katoa Ranch is pretty good for early game Cooking I guess, it also has a shit ton of wheat and you should use that spot to get to l10 farming before farming for like two hours at Durum Islands/Isles or whatever it is

(optional: use stronk zombie fleshes on your armor to deal powerful smacks with wooden stick)

so then you go into Nivla or whatever, you could also farm the little corrupted spiky thing out the left of Emerald Trail (scribing ingreds and a lot of flesh)

    kill spiders! yeah!

so then you kill the spiders in nivla lmao, avoid the big ones that throw more spiders at you and just get ez exp

go to the powder merchant in nivla if you have a powder (you prolly will) and use it

now go through nivla if you’re level 7 or whatever, you *should* be. you should also have a lot of low level ingredients

go kill the plebs in Detlas Suburbs (don’t go into the big ruin on the right to farm unless you want to, there’s a few tanky bois in there)

    list of ingredients you need:

jeweling - Forest Web (dropped commonly by spiders, it’s a web)

    woodworking/weaponsmithing - flesh (obvi)

cooking - eggs (dropped at a good rate by chickens in Katoa Ranch)

alchemism - Spider Fang (also spiders, it looks like flint)

scribing - forget this one for a second

    Armoring/tailoring - see below

i highly recommend going up to Detlas and killing sheep for armoring/tailoring, they drop wool over 50% of the time imo and respawn, you can also farm a little bit of wheat there

to get healing items: make potions/scrolls/food with no ingredients uwu

you’ll also want to upgrade your tools to t2, shouldn’t be hard at all

as far as scribing goes yeah go past Katoa and kill the crabs there, “Crab Hiding in Sand” drops a level 1 scribing ingredient and turns into a crab, which drops a level 4(?) water bottle looking thing

as far as higher level scribing ingredients go the Zombie Grooks drop like level 5(?) ones and Corruption Shards (level 7 scribing) are dropped from “Reconstructed Warriors” or whatever the hell they’re called, also by “Resurrected Ragni Soldiers” on the right in Nivla Forest, shortly after entrance

you can do quests if you want, i highly recommend that tunnel one at level 5, it has literally 0 danger at all and you’ll still need to go to Ragni a bit until all your shit is at level 10 (I’m assuming you know where level 1 resources are mostly, there’s fish in the lake by Ragni and stuff if I didn’t mention that)

you should easily be at level 10 now, so go make yourself a new set of armor with birch and granite(you need to go back to Ragni anyways. Use your scroll to get there or use the tunnel or whatever and go into the Pigman Ravines, then go up the path on the immediate left, there’s a ridiculous amount of granite

if your harvesting skills aren’t level 10 then just make a decent set of gear or whatever, scrap the old one and repair your weapon (orrr you could craft a new one that’s probably smart)

since you’re now in Ragni probably go kill yourself a key guardian or two they’re pretty common lmao

do the prelim quest for the dungeon (watch out for that part where you have to kill the skeleton, it takes several hits at low lv

now if you’re an absolute chad you can run the dungeon at level 10 by yourself, but I didn’t so idk how safe it is

    up to you I guess?

(Note: the fellas in this dungeon drop bone meal, a very nice level 22(wait it’s 21) ingredient that you’ll probably want to farm a bit of later)

uhhh the one thing you shouldn’t do is elemental exercise, that Vibrant Augment is a good item and also it gives you an annoying quest item

just… keep doing your thing, i’m pretty sure that if you’re doing a HIC you know how to get to level 20

    professions from level 10 -> 20:

Armoring/tailoring: …yeah uh so basically there’s nothing, just use wool or for tailoring the spider webs

Jeweling: …yeah uh you should just keep going with the forest webs (and the poisonous spidey eyes)

Weaponsmithing/woodworking: corruption shards (if you have any, its not reeeeallly worth farming too many ingredients because to get everything to l20 you need to do a fair bit of gathering and you’ll easily get all the crafting shit to 20 even with level 1 materials)

Cooking: kill pigmen in ravine for meat yum (level 11)

Alchemism: kill pigmen in ravine for glug glug (still level 11)

Scribing: now this one’s annoying as fuck, you’re going to want to save your corruption shards for it because the only alternative is some pleb mobs (Valley Wanderer, Ancient somthingorother) in pleb place (Time Valley) could be worse tho

If you haven’t done the literal easiest dungeon in the game yet for the love of god do it

(you can get tier 3 tools there and you want those dammit)

pls keep in mind that you can do quests btw but grinding isn’t bad at all at this level

uhhh what you want to do at level 20 I think is head into Nemract if you haven’t already for some reason (there’s grind spot mobs on the road there from Detlas, one of them is ranged, the pleb mobs on the road there drop some ingredients you’ll probably use)

before you do this talk to Saylorwhatever by Detlas and start the quest “grave digger” ***bring rotten flesh with you for the love of god***

you’ll want to keep like 1-2 heals in your hotbar at all times. Now that you’re level 20 or smth you might wanna manage your inventory?? Maybe?

Here’s a helpful picture (pre-horse) of me staring at the empty hole in my inventory screen

now what you want to do is speak with the priest man and go kill his undead brother for access to a really good grinding spot

(((If you see a rare mob named “Ghost of Saint’s Row” don’t attack it unless you’re actually good, just /class and relog esp. if you’re level 20, more about this special boi later)))

uh anyways the dude you’re trying to kill uses Heavy Charge and has six(?) forms

They’re all about the same as the last one though and the dude doesn’t deal a ton of damage, you’ll be fine especially with pots/scrolls

So basically you give the dude his dead brother’s will and then you get access to the best early game grind spot

uhhhh yeah so about these mobs:

THEY DEAL A LOT OF DAMAGE DON’T GET HIT (also bring a lot of healing if you want to stay there)

the mobs are slow tho and there’s a lot of them

also they give a very v e r y good amount of points

Three mobs: Skeleton (l25) these guys are pushovers but a bit faster, undead bovemist (I think???) and (I have no idea what this name is)

Only problem: the undead bovemists can and will regenerate almost all of their health

I dealt with this by gathering em all up and using Bash three times in a row, but not everyone is cool enough to be a warrior (it’s fine dw I still love you)

I’m assuming you’re sentient though so it should be fine, just be careful

this grind spot will literally get you above level 30, you need to do NOTHING else (this is a lie)

    uhhhh

you’re going to want to do that one dungeon prerequisite quest for Underworld Crypt idk (I think that’s what it’s called?????)

Uhhh as far as the dungeon goes:

    -it’s actually fun (like, actually)

    -it gives experience

-you don’t need good gear really

-also tier 4 tools and more about that after our pre-scheduled program on Professions

uhh yeah you should keep the gear you’re using within about eight or so levels of your character also

PROFESSION FOR LEVEL TWENTY TO LEVEL THIRTY (and I’m going to include collection spots this time)

woodcutting!! Farm the willow trees in a little loop (assuming you’re looking at it from Detlas, go to the left of the ruins that house the dungeon, and just cut down the trees there, there’s a lot and you can kill some mobs too :O

mining!! go *straight* out of Detlas towards Nesaak. When you get to the lake by the cliff drop down into the water and turn around, there’s a gold mine

Alternatively: cross the lake and there’s a slightly larger gold mine (with a loot chest! Wow!) in the middle of the lake there’s a cave and this cave is very good for reasons I will explain soon

(Also I never came back to talking about the Ghost of Saint’s Row like I said I would, haha you got fooled.)

Jk it drops two 2-star ingredients which give damage boosts in thunder and fire(unless its fire defense I don’t really know) and they’re pretty good

fishing!! On the right side of the cathedral that you talked to the dude for killing some guy’s dead brother again in (assuming you’re looking at it from Detlas) there’s like twenty salmon farming spots, all along the shore, the Ghost of Saint’s Row can spawn near you here so don’t AFK but other than that no mobs should attack

    Farming!!

Ok so for this one you go to the Seaskipper (who has a bit of a problem, pic related)

Aaaand now what you do is buy a pass to Durum Isles for 4 emeralds, go there

There’s no mobs there and I have no idea what the boss altar is there, but it’s safe. There’s also cows on the island which drop level 2 ingredients for armoring (maybe tailoring too I forget)

the main thing there is the farming, you can go from level 1 to level 40 there but there’s good Barley around Detlas so eh, up to you

Go farm oats there until you literally can’t carry any, there’s no refinery on the island at all

(There’s also this thing called Malt if you wanna farm that but it’s slow a s f with tier 3 tools)

before ingredients and about the tools

Get tier 4 tools from the nemract dungeon it isn’t super horrible (but be careful before you charge into it doh)

Tier 5 tools are from Sand Swept Tomb

The prelim quest to get those isn’t bad! It’s actually really, really fun

H o w e v e r don’t do it solo at level 36(I think it’s actually 34 oops), and by the time where you can solo it you’ll have needed to farm gear with tier 3 tools for far too long

The problem with someone carrying you::

There’s like four possible rooms for one fighting thing and one parkour thing and that’s not very good because if you get split up the person carrying you will have to re-run the dungeon if you’re scared

ALTERNATIVELY you could just do the damn room and stop being a pussy but that’s only if you’re actually good at the game which I’m definitely not

    So: get tier 4 tools

sorry I confused you with all the level 30-40 shit, let’s go back to where we’re at which is level 30

    (((Ingredients~! IGNORETHIS

Jeweling:::: there’s literally nothing still. Unless you want to kill Dead Prospectors (which I recommend on 30-40 because of the ingredients) just——

Oh shit wait I forgot lmao sorry))) IGNORE THIS

So basically what you wanna do (maybe during 20-30 sometime, while you’re getting rich from gold ore) go into that cave in the Detlas Lake (is that what it’s called??) it’s the cave in the middle of the lake by gold mines

Ignore the silverfish lookin things and go a bit deeper into the cave (you’ll want to place a mob totem if you have any) and kill the spiders and zombies.

Zombies drop Shredded Bone (level 24 Scribing and something else) and the spiders drop a Jeweling and something else ingredient. It’s good for leveling up and there’s a tier 4 loot chest at the end of the cave.

    Ingredients anyways::

Jeweling: the spiders in that cave drop a ton of jeweling bits, they do poison

Armoring/Tailoring: the bone meal that’s dropped in the first dungeon

Woodworking/weaponsmithing: idfk honestly, my plane is landing now and I need to put my laptop away so I’ll just stop writing this absolutely awful guide

    hope you enjoyed <33
