Community Event (unofficial) Wynncon 2019 - Recruiting

Hello there, Wynncraft community! Work on the next Wynncon event has begun, and we need people to help us finish.

Wynncon is an unofficial event meant to bring the Wynncraft community together to celebrate the game we all love and have played. The event will have various festivities, games, speeches, and more, with many prizes that are given out in Wynncraft itself!

This year we're going to come back at it with a brand new map featuring many old and many new events. These include Rank and Crate Giveaways, Speeches from famous Wynncraftians, Parkour challenges, PvP arenas using a custom spell-casting plugin, minigames, NPCs, and much more!

But in order to make all these things possible we need the help of players like you! Otherwise the event will just turn out to be another wynncon 2017, and that's not what we want to see happen.

You can apply for these positions:
- CMD [Make various contraptions and easter eggs around the map to add functionality]
- Developer [Develop plugins for the event, to allow for more features]

I'm not a great build or any good at writing scripts, but I'm definitely attending this. Sounds awesome.

 

Didn't atteint Wynncon 2017 but what do you actually do at it? Minigames? chatt around? goof around?

 

When a main event is not going on, typically you can either enjoy minigames, talk with your friends, explore the detailed and expansive map, or participate in activities that don't require a time slot (for example you could run the parkour course or fight pvp battles without there being a parkour or pvp event scheduled).

 

What are some of the main events like?

It seems like a silly question but when is wynncon 2019?

 

Our goal is to have the event in december, but we're still very early in the planning process so don't quote me on that.
When we have a release date ready, we'll probably announce it on the thread or something.
