Unable To Use Wynntils And Optifine Simultaneously

So I decided to download Forge and Wynntils, for an enhanced Wynncraft experience. I followed several guides which all said that dumping OptiFine into the mods folder, and then running Forge, would make both run simultaneously. However, no matter what I try, barring deleting and re-installing Forge and Wynntils. Is there anything else that I can do to remedy this problem?

I know this isn't really related to Wynncraft, and I will delete this question if it violates the rules

I have optifine 1.12 and optifine 1.14, because I used to be in an active 1.14 server, but I also installed optifine 1.12 to play wynncraft. So you're saying that I should delete optifine 1.14 and try again?

 

Yes, they are probably conflicting or something. Only use one.

 

What I do is use different game folders for 1.12.2 and 1.14. So, you select which version of Minecraft you want to play and that keeps the mods for each version separated.
