World Painter World Done​

What you can find here:


-Many monsters and creatures, some of which never seen or heard of before.


- 5 - 10 Cities/Towns; all with custom lore, and backstory, and 5 of which having mystical Elemental castles


- Landscapes with beautiful scenery, provided by@That_Mage 's amazing World Painting skills!


- Connections to@That_Mage 's world "Kelgor" Lore wise (at least)


- 15 (or more) powerful boss enemies


- 5 - 10 dungeons (maybe less, idk, still working out details for those)


- Some custom, and some not custom Plugins (for server(s) )


- 100+ Custom mobs (may or may not all get custom textures, will need help with that if they all will get these)

Cities (so far):



Etherrak - City of Dragons



House types: Mainly caves, but some actual buildings to house Dragon Riders, Weredragons (Humans that can turn into dragons) or Wizards that study Dragon magic. A group of five volcanoes surround the area, and some caves are in the volcanoes, magic prevents the lava from erupting, and the dragons are friendly, but if any outsiders come in to attack, they will go hostile.



Details, and Points of interest: The city itself surrounds a Castle that is in ruins, the castle is made of Obsidian, and other hot materials. Before a massive war broke out, the castle was one of five castles, Fire, Ice, Earth, Air, and elemental. This is the Fire Castle, and is one of the only four that the whereabouts are known.



Nilidia - City of the Sky



House types: The houses are floating on their own flying islands, the houses look like normal houses, but the land they float on is suspended in mid air.



Warning; To all those of whom want to venture to this city, be aware, in this part of the world time is frozen due to a lack of magic, only the bravest of souls can venture to this city, for once they enter, they are forced to endure the mind bending reality of what happens when time stops. Faces of the frozen inhabitants, mouths open wide, as if they were screaming in terror, right before they were frozen in time, will you explore this city, enter the Castle of air, and discover what happened here? Or will the monsters that now inhabit this city kill you before you reach there.



Details, and Points of interest: Because the city is suspended in time, the only thing that is of interest would be the Castle in the middle, it is one of the five castles, Fire, Ice, Earth, Air, and Elemental. This castle has many monsters crawling around it, the only person known to venture there, and returned, died attempting to find the Elemental castle… will you be able to Venture into this castle and unlock the secrets as to why this grand city is frozen in time? Or will you die trying?



Raligord - City of the Underground/Dwarfs



House types: There are little houses, as the inhabitants never truly “go home” they prefer to mine, as dwarfs usually do. All though, this city does have some houses, they are usually abandoned from when this city was above ground. The dwarves that live there aren’t the only inhabitants however. Avoid this place if you have Arachnophobia, are afraid of the dark, or are deathly afraid of monsters… unless… of course, you are one of the many that are searching for the lost, mythical, and legendary city that houses the Elemental castle.



Details, and Points of interest: The only true point of interest here, is the Earth castle, unless of course you are interested in mining, in which case, you should find a place to call home here… just don’t try to take any valuables you find, or else the Dwarves might pickaxe you to death.



Perameth- City of Ice



House types: The houses here are mainly made of solid ice, the inhabitants here are also made of ice, and snow. They are usually peaceful, but if you attempt to go into the Ice Castle, they will defend it with their lives, because it is the only castle (other than the Castle of Air) that still stands, no cracks in the walls, and no ruins at all.



Details, and Points of interest: The city of ice itself is a marvel of a place. The city being made of ice, and held together by magic, it cannot melt, which means that this city (unless attacked) will never be destroyed. The main point of interest though, is the Ice Castle in the center of the city, it is said that when the sun is in the middle of the sky, the light of it hitting the gigantic building of ice will shine in the direction of the City that holds the Elemental Castle. This means that the Ice city’s people are the only ones (other than Nilidia’s people) that know where this legendary city is. But they cannot leave the city, for they will melt. The people cannot speak, so they cannot tell anyone where the city of legend is.



Airadonia - Capital city/The Lost city



House types: No one really remembers what the houses look like. Some say they are just normal houses, but nicer. Some say that the houses are too advance to be possible, so thus, the city to them is just a hoax. But to the ones that still believe it’s out there, and that will not give up until they find it, legend says the city is in another plane of existence than this one. Some say that the gateway to this city is guarded by a gigantic monster, and only the most elite, and highly trained warriors are allowed access.



Details, and Points of interest: While not much is known about this city detail wise. The only thing that everyone knows is there, is the Elemental Castle.

I will be looking for a Build team once@That_Mage is done with the world, which may be about, like, a month and a half from now, or whenever Gavel is done, because I want some builders from wynncraft to help, because I am terrible at building myself, and it will take way too long if I did this all alone.


A thread will be posted After Gavel comes out for more info on how to join in on the build team thing.


Anyways! Thank you all for taking a look at this! Hope you all are excited! I will keep this thread up to date as much as possible, and if any set backs occur, I will be sure to tell you all first!

It's going to take nearly about a year, or just a bit less, but, then again, this might turn into a "FNAF Release date" situation, in which case, if it does, then about three months xD but only if that happens.

 

I'd be interested to help in any way :D

 

BTW! If anyone can figure out what the thing at the end, I will allow them to be a tester of the map when it gets to that point, if they so wish ;D

Ok, well, we are looking for builders, and maybe some coders for plugins, and that stuff, so maybe you can help there? :)

 

There are obviously better builders out there, but I have done some pretty cool builds that even I'm proud of.
I can help out in building - just not world edit, I'm still getting the hang of that.

Would love to help and build! @That_Mage, @Hydra_Lord, and @CuddleDragonHoke I know that two of you know me maybe you too hoke. As you know I have already proved my skills to Hydra_Lord, and I have gotten better any since. I would be devoted to helping, and I know how to make texture packs. One question I have is where are we going to get server hosting for that many people when the server comes out.

Server hosting is done by ggservers.com. If there's a large demand for slots(a ton of players on) we will upgrade to more slots. As far as money goes, I've got a decent paying job, well enough for monthly payments. If the need comes, I could likely sustainably pay for 100 slots
