    Here's something interesting:

I was playing on my friends SMP server and excavating a tunnel for a base I was making, when suddenly I just happened upon a cave while digging.

Immediately I noticed 2 baby zombie-chicken jockeys, which I thought was pretty interesting. Then I realised that the cave had like 3 other random chickens in it.

I have no idea what caused this. The cave appeared to be completely untouched (no torches, no tunnels into it, no player-placed blocks etc) and there were somehow chickens in it

My best theory is that for some reason this cave keeps spawning chicken jockeys and the baby zombies end up despawning and leaving their chicken behind (the cave was within close proximity to our normal base) but I actually don't know.
