Archer/Hunter trift dps builds?

nighthawk is preferred but not necessary, 40k+ ehp preferred, no mythics

if trift is trash without spring just suggest a high dps nighthawk build with 50k+ ehp

idk i hate nighthawk personally

 

I guess its viable, but you only have 6 mr so you cant really take advantage of nighthawk. imo a generic olily build or crafted spring build would do better

 

having trift wont make your dps go much higher, having a normal can be just as good

 

I cant hit any of my arrows of storm without it though

it makes you deal less total dmg, but you can cast it faster and more arrows hit
idk about the numbers but i think it gets around the same dps, maybe a bit more
also it takes the helmet slot, wich can be used by something like cumulunimbus, cancer or aphotic (those can increase tankyness or dmg)

 

tldr
advantages
all arrows hitting from any distance
higher survivability bc you don’t have to stand right next to enemies to do full dmg
nighthawk arrow storm ends faster means that you can fire several in the same timespan as one single normal arrow storm which actually makes its DPS very nice if the build can sustain spamming arrow storm (thats why mr is important for nhawk builds)
disadvantages
less dmg on arrow storms
need decent mr to take advantage of nhawk
takes the helmet slot, which can be used by something like cumu, cancer or aphotic to increase tankiness or dmg)
