tried rerolling my item; lost it entirely

I tried to re-identify my item after getting it at ~50% efficiency, and when I did my inventory became full from my emerald blocks downgrading into emeralds and not automatically going into my emerald bag. I then had to accept and it said it dropped my item on the ground, but it had vanished entirely. Not sure where I can try and report this or contact the team at to do anything about it, I do have a clip of it happening, is there anything I can do and if so where do I do it?

 

I have no idea why your item vanished but, the emeralds not going into your emerald bag is because emeralds only go into them if you picked up the emerald from the ground, not emeralds that go directly into your inventory without being dropped.

 

Did it happen to be a quest item? If so, try /fixquests, if that doesn't work, file a bug report.

 

where did you identify it? this bug is possibly related to the surrounding terrain (the item goes somewhere inaccessible instead of dropping on the ground), and is reproducible for specific identifiers. corkus is a guaranteed source of this problem; i'm not sure if there are any others.

He's in this weird little hut in the wall so there a chance your item went into a little crevice in the wall.
