Just a thread to post and talk about your top 5 favorite ios games
My top 5:
5. Clicker heroes - A pretty addicting idle game
4. Hearthstone - Really fun but kinda p2p
3. Terraria - If you get into it like me it gets really really fun
2. The kingdom rush series - without a doubt one of my favorite ios games, even though they cost money they're completely worth it
1. Punch club - the best storyline a mobile game could ever have, you could even get the full story of the game just by watching a youtube series but playing it is even better. It's a strategy + choose your story game and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good game in general
(best story line for a mobile game imo lol)

Honorable mentions: CoC, Clash Royale, Soccer Physics, mcpe, and crossy road

Respect everyone else's opinions and maybe try some out, you might find a new great game!

5: Brave Frontier
It's a freemium money pit that only involves thought once you have a large unit pool.
Which requires money.
4: Neomon
Interesting battle system, and though F2P struggle, you really can get away without spending a penny. Stands out a bit from other monster collectors.
3: King of Thieves
Decent platformer, and practically free to win. If you know what you're doing, you're golden. If you don't, then paying hardly helps anyways.
2: Tales of Link
The menu layout is awkward and takes some getting used to, but the gameplay isn't too bad outside of the occasional RNG shitfest.
1: Royal Revolt 2
I loved the Anomaly series, and having pretty much endless amounts of different tower offense levels (in the form of other players) kept me into it a while. I don't play it as much anymore, but obligatory IAPs are infrequent and though there's a gem-reliant resource (you get it by spending gems), it's not impossible to F2P

The best mobile game is obviously TabText.

 

• ChoiceOfGames - More vague, but they all follow the idea of "choose your own adventure."
• Creatures Such as We - Same as above, except I found myself playing it over and over. It's free, and if you like reading, then maybe take a look into this.

The next three are all by the same creators. Damn, are they something of quality for mobile. Really. Look into them. (I know, I know. To get the full experience of 'em, they have to be bought. It isn't much though.)

• Cytus - Ever played 'OSU!', or a music-sort of game? If so, you'll probably have a knack for this. Except, it seems as though there's a story beneath it all...
• Deemo - Similar to above, except with more Piano music (aw yiss), and an unspoken story that hits you in the feels.

1. Implosion - Never Loose Hope - 100% charge on your phone? OH THAT'S FUNNY.

Ignoring the battery use it rips through, in terms of mobile games, I'd say it takes the gold. Music especially. The story is also a little odd on the first run through, you might not understand it immediately. So here's a brief one:

It has been 20 years since Earth was evacuated; at least for those who could make it out. A prion organism slammed into the Planet via meteorite, causing the infected to become a zombie-like mutation; XADA mutaforms. Jacob Carloway returned to Earth from Gaia - the planet twelve light-years away that the humans evacuated to - in hopes to stop a XADA threat on the horizon.
You play as a WARMECH. Yes. A Mech with a sword.
Also, prepare yourself for intense feels. MULTIPLE. TIMES.
