Tips on playing assassin?

I'm around level 37 in assassin now, I have an extremely good weapon with a lightning buff chain and my armour is decent, but I am unsure about abilities. I am looking forward to playing an Acrobat/Shadestepper hybrid class, any tips on what to do/what weapons that are good for this?

Are there anyways to increase my ehp (or hp, I come from hsb)

Ok, so first Acrobat and shadestepper don’t work very well with each other because of poisoned blade blocking double slice and backstab blocking stronger multihit and fatality. Also you should not be playing acrobat until you get to at least level 75 or so because you won’t have enough mana sustain. So I suggest either going full shadestepper or mixing shadestepper and trickster.

you can increase your ehp by increasing your normal hp or getting equipment modifying your defense/agility. Additionally you can put skill points into those.

 

Acrobat and Shadestepper do not work well together. Acrobat pretty much forces you to go full Acrobat, and cannot be mixed together with Shadestepper or Trickster unless you want to really suffer and be worse than a normal acrobat.

Assassin tree is wonky and only Shadestepper and Trickster can be blended together for it to be beneficial

 

How does agility effect ehp?

 

It makes it so you have a chance to dodge attacks (take 90% less damage from a hit). It is more luck based than defense but increases your survivability by a lot.
