Timed Out - Wynncraft Please Help

So I stayed up all night to play gavel.

And it comes out and I'm like! OH YEAHHHH!
I charge in and click 'yes' to download resource pack.
A couple seconds later, my minecraft gets a 'Not Responding', which is normal for me whenever I change resource packs.
But then I get kicked with the words 'Timed Out'

I tried for the rest of the night and three hours today.
I restarted my computer updated it, checked java, restarted minecraft several times, tried optifine, etc.
BTW:it asks me to download resource pack each time I log into worlds. Even after I asked my friend to send me the full resource pack(he can get in)

I get:
'Timed Out'
'Connection was closed by a remote host'
'An established connection was aborted by your host machine'

Please help me! I've been waiting forever for gavel and I really want to play!

 

Try using 1.8.8 or 1.8.9 I had that glitch but when I switched to a newer version it worked

 

same results :(
