Warning: There will be spoilers to anything about Time Valley

I recently got interested in this mysterious place and the race that lived there. I have tried to find anything about its lore, but couldn't.

So I have searched the whole area and found this:
    • They lived in Time Valley and surrounding area
    • The were called The Olm
    • They used time magic
    • They infused nearly everything with it
    • They can't travel into the future, beacuse you need and item from the time
    • You can't change the past
    • They lived only in the valley, as there seems to only few build outside it
    • They weren't much populated, because there is only one building looking livable, the building before the Temple
    • They built mainly from stone, propably gathered while building the Temple
    • They propably built the Great Bridge, as it is really close to the valley
    • They suddenly disappeared, maybe because of the Corruption
    • They spoke wynnic

Note: This may be outdated in future versions (1.19+)
If you know something that isn't in the list and have proof of it post it here please.

Just gonna go over what I see

They lived only in the valley, as there seems to only few build outside it
The Valley is fortunate enough to be slowed in time, which helps preserve it. Even with that there, other buildings were probably ripped to pieces by the Corrupted Army, or just didn’t stand the test of time because they were outside of the slowing’s influence.

They weren't much populated, because there is only one building looking livable, the building before the Temple
You mean Asher’s house? Anyways, they probably were pretty well populated, just they never got around to making legitimate houses. They mostly slept in tents or whatnot, or outside of the Valley itself.

They built mainly from stone, propably gathered while building the Temple

They propably built the Great Bridge, as it is really close to the valley
I doubt it. The bridge itself isn’t that badly damaged compared to other things, despite being a source of battle. The Ruins are pretty much only still standing because they’ve been altered at a temporal level. The bridge however still seems like it’s not more than 2,000 years old. Remember, the Temple of Time was very ancient history to the humans that were alive before the Portal was discovered.

They suddenly disappeared, maybe because of the Corruption
There was something “hunting” them during their time there. They evacuated from Time Valley after some sort of cosmic level event happened. Afterwards they either died from that thing or simply because they were out of their environment. Besides, the Nether was not found until 0 AP by Human Miners, beforehand Wynn didn’t have much Corruption affecting it.

    They spoke wynnic
    No shit.

No, i mean anything that can be a house for inteligent race. The building outside looks like it could do it. And if they didnt have time to build they houses, how did they have time to build the whole place?

They didnt vanish due to a cosmic event. They could travel to the past and get corrupted. Or they could live when another race built the portal and after they got corrupted they hid it. (Those are my speculiations, but they are possible)
Btw somebody had to BUILD the portal.

Gee, I don't know, they cared more about making a time travel temple that would let them retrieve items from the past without fucking with the past itself? i mean, you got rickeo's flame somehow. They wanted to make the temple, then make whatever else.

They obviously had tents and such for them to be able to keep out of the weather.

They evacuated to someplace else. But "cosmic event" doesn't forbode as something you can really get away from. Besides, I never said they vanished.
You just saw a somehow still alive Olm inside of that one underground place. It said that they couldn't survive in the valley and that "it" was coming for them. Besides, you literally cannot just go "hmm its not impossible they did this so let me just bring it up as a valid reason to debunk my arguers reasoning" when discussing RPG lore of any kind.

Wynn had literally zero trace of Corruption or Corrupted entities spreading around the province until the Corrupted Army was awoken, or any evidence to select why. The only known trace of Corruption in Wynn before the Corrupted Army was awoken was the Crystals, and even then that was only limited to their city.

Nobody "built the portal". Cataclysm's lore implies that someone ripped open a hole to the Nether with the sheer force of the Weapon. If you mean that bridge and gate around the nether portal and whatnot, that was built by the miners in 0 AP, not the Olm. There was absolutely nothing but red stone surrounding the Nether Portal before the human miners started digging to it.

No way. Hot Tub Time Machine, Back to the Future, Terminator, The Flash and even Avengers Endgame must have gotten it wrong.

Not exactly true. It is said that there are two forces that are fighting, light and dark. They say our realm of existence is our battleground, hence the reasoning that the realm could have been corrupted by darkness itself, not necessarily a certain person or race. It is also possible it was ripped open by a certain dern being (guess). Cata's lore says someone ripped open the way to the nether by sheer force.

Endgame got it right I guess. You can't really change the past in any way that would affect the future itself. you can however bring items back from that past or whatnot.
