Thunderstorms Like Hades In Ca

Did any1 experience the worst rain and thunderstorm to hit California this morning? It lasted for about an hour. It woke me up earlier than I wanted to wake up on a school day. I was thinking ... Maybe no school?... Because it sounded like being in a middle of a tornado or Hades raining like hell all around. Sideways blasting of rain and wind, thunder constantly rolling across above. I wont be surprised if pots and window screen got blown off . Was imagining no fun getting to school in this storm! .. Then I'm wide awake with nothing else to do but check on the forums!
