the great part about thunder hero is that you're combining hero's high strength bonus with high dexterity. you're getting higher noncrit damage as well as a high crit chance, and by combining the two you're getting more of a boost than if it all was in strength or dexterity.
not only that, but you're also putting thunder powders on a very fast weapon. that adds a significant amount of dps.
