Mage/Dark Wizard Thoughts On This Weapon?

Looks pretty good, is it viable?

 

It looks really good, but the damage is probably going to be quite low. It will rely on hitting hard with curse and favors melee, but its spells will be lacking without curse active. The earth and neutral are low for level 98 AND slow attack, but the high water dmg% will add incentive to curse barrages and keeping curse active as much as possible. Probably won't be a good tier stacker like gaia, but a great hybrid.

 

It's quite good for tanking, some people were showing off builds with this a few weeks/months ago. It actually has pretty good damage.

i tried, i wanna try something with tesla but that sp is a huge oof

 

oh shit no powder slots. I really am not liking it anymore. I assumed 2 powder slots after I saw the water % and mana steal. That's a bummer. It's got worse damage than I thought now too. Prolly 8-9k avg and semi spammable. The SP reqs are the easiest part imo. It really feels underwhelming now that I've got a better look at it.

Yea seems kinda disapointing. The HP is nice though. Probably quite a durable build given the high water % and HP though.

 

From my experience, it's basically a more offensive KoH to put it shortly. Both get relatively the same heals (although KoH usually heals higher) but Luto boasts actually doing damage without abusing enemy water weakness. However, KoH is still overall better as a utility weapon due to the higher mana sustain, and typically higher healing, it will give you (3/4s mr vs. 1/4s ms). It could also be a substitute for if you can't meet the sp req of KoH.
